The ABC’s of Spring Break

A–Anyone know what day it is?

B–Big plans…big lack of ambition…big deal…

C–Cleaning up isn’t really on my schedule…

D–Don’t forget to tell me when I should go back to work…

E–Every care and worry from my school left behind for the week.

F–Forgot at least one pair of shoes and maybe some socks.

G–Grandma time.  Lots of time with my Grandma all week long.

H–Happiness is coming home again and having days to stay.

I–Icy snow falling to remind me that winter has one last trick for Iowa.

J–Just kidding–back to spring tomorrow!!

K–Kids outside playing and riding bikes (when it isn’t ice-snowing)

L–Library books in a pile by my bed.

M–Mom making home-cooked meals…yum!

N–No inside recess, not even on the icy snowy day!

O–Open windows for sleeping at night

P–Plenty of time for Gilmore Girls marathon watching and cross stitching

Q–Quiet nights for reading

R–Reading.  Reading.  Reading…

S–SLEEPING IN!

T–Too much shopping?  No such thing…

U–Umbrellas needed for shopping trip because stormy weather is predicted

V–Very late nights don’t matter a bit!

W–Walking for exercise on the same roads I used to walk home from school as a kid.

X–eXtra time for just being lazy.

Y–Yakking with friends for hours

Z–Zero stress!
