Four snoozes on the alarm.
It’s too early. Way, way to early…to reasonably expect me to get up.
It’s warm under my blankets and I don’t want to come out.
It hurts to be awake right now.
Vacation is for sleeping in, not painful alarm clocks.
Ok, I know I have to. I know deep down, I want to.
Going to see my favorite kiddos today…so I have to get out of bed.
Ouch.
Maybe if I walk around and get ready with my eyes half open, I can go right back to sleep once we are in the car.
Yeah, right. By that time I will be wide awake and won’t be able to just drift back off…
…like I wish I could right now. Where it is warm and dark, and…
FINE!! I’m up.

HA! This slice if FULL of personality. I’m an early riser (and typically an early slicer) because I’m too darn tired to write at the end of the day. But I sure do appreciate someone who mixes things up every now and then. And your post had me laughing! 🙂
